The problem: CPFilms is the world’s leading manufacturer of solar control and safety/security window film for both automotive and building applications. With sales and distribution offices located around the world, CPFilms has positioned itself to grow its international division, with China, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Brazil, Russia and the United Kingdom as its main targets. The very scope of this global initiative presented challenges in helping CPFilms reach its audiences.

Concentrated research of media outlets in the targeted markets, monitoring of international reporting trends relating to security, safety and climate change, and optimization of messaging by empowering dealers and distributors in target markets to assist PR efforts locally have created a team approach to positioning CPFilms as THE provider of performance films. Fluency in Spanish is another AccessPR tool that has proved invaluable in reaching Latin American audiences.

The result: Media placements reflect a variety of audiences in the target markets, including: Automotive World, The Hindu Times and ProSecurityTalk.com.

When the Delhi High Court in India recommended a ban on all automotive window film in the light of increasing crimes occurring inside vehicles, AccessPR worked with CPFilms to create awareness of this multifaceted issue. News releases also helped to foster use of light transmission test cards, which were available at no cost to area law enforcement officials to provide an easy-touse, accurate method of identifying illegal dark auto window films.
