Professional: Co-founder Tony Pearman strives to be the creative conscience of Access, partnering with Marcum and the team to create work that not only exceeds creative expectations but also delivers the results our clients demand. Pearman has served the advertising industry from the local to national levels, including two terms as the chair of the National ADDY Committee and as a member of the national American Advertising Federation (AAF) Board of Directors. An avid fan of student advertising, Pearman has also taught advertising and design as an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Tech. Outside of work, his passion for the arts and community-related causes is varied and includes terms on many boards. Pearman's service earned him a 2005 award from the Virginia Governor's Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect, and Access received The Kendig Award, the region's highest honor for service and commitment to the arts. Pearman has collected more than 400 advertising awards at the local, regional, and national levels. Print, How, and ID magazines; The Art Directors Club of Metropolitan Washington; CASE; The Public Relations Society of America; and the Society for Environmental Graphic Designers have all recognized his work. But like any passionate creative, his favorite project is the next one.
